"Aphorismes": Drawings with Augmented Reality

What is augmented reality?
As the name suggests, it's simply reality to which something is added. It's a digital technique that allows overlaying reality with digital animations updated in real time. And by what means is it possible to alter reality?
Through technology!
Using a smartphone or tablet, it's possible to discover this reality designed by the artist to complement the drawings and create a unique work of art where the essential is no longer visible with the eyes alone.
This process creates a surprising dialogue between the techniques of drawing and digital art, where each communicates to become one and can finally develop a new semantics, offering a unique work of art.

Why "Aphorismes"? Contemporary art?
In a time where thought seems forgotten, where reflection is conditioned by the media, it seemed important for the artist to restore philosophy's place.
Isn't augmented reality the perfect allegory of Plato's cave myth? These images projected onto the real world blur the boundaries between appearance and reality. What becomes of reality? And since this reality is augmented, how is it defined?
Are we like in Matrix? Would we have chosen the red pill to see reality as it truly is?
This is how "Aphorismse" pushes the boundaries of art by combining drawings and augmented reality. Each artwork is an invitation to reflection, a starting point towards a parallel universe. This technological subterfuge blends realities and prompts questioning about the world (conflict, religion, environment, society...).
It is, therefore, contemporary art utilizing a modern digital technique, a form of interactive digital art.

"Micro-Aphorismes": The Complementary Micro Series
As the name might suggest, the micro-aphorismes series consists of small-format drawings, also complementing augmented reality.
These are small pieces of immersive art. Each drawing becomes a visual and auditory aphorism.Whether in an engaged way or more dreamlike, this series acts as an extension to the Aphorismes series.
The hybrid artist: Christelle Vinsonneau

Christelle Vinsonneau is a slash artist whose creative approach is driven by the pursuit of freedom and a sharp perspective on the world. Rejecting all forms of stylistic confinement, she explores diverse means and forms of expression, with sarcasm as the guiding thread of her approach.
An idealist thwarted by reality, she questions and condemns our relationship with the world and with images.
Her transversal skills, stimulated by an insatiable thirst for learning, unfold in polymorphous research at the crossroads of scriptural, scenic, visual, sonic, and digital arts.
In addition to her individual creations, she experiments with numerous artists and companies and regularly performs at festivals. She collaborates with composers, musicians, choreographers, dancers, and circus artists, for whom she designs holographic video systems, real-time generative and interactive creations, as well as acousmatic and digital sound creations. She writes contemporary opera librettos, committed performance texts, and designs stage devices for live performance, which she particularly cherishes.
Recently, for the series Aphorismes, Christelle Vinsonneau combines graphic creation and augmented reality to invite the viewer to a unique interactive experience, where the artwork reveals itself as one explores the different layers of reality. Each piece becomes a window open to a parallel universe, prompting reflection and emotion.
As a graphic designer, Christelle Vinsonneau founded the company Awerpi for digital creation and communication strategy: https://www.awerpi.fr.
